More than thirty representatives from local police, state police, fire, and EMS personnel from around the county took the time to set up displays and demonstrations and be available to interact with all the students and answer their questions.

Recently 130 incoming freshmen students spent the day at Salem Tech to get their schedules, find out where their classes are and learn about how they can get involved in sports and various clubs.

To kick things off, the district held a special ceremony on Wednesday, August 2 during which the contents of a time capsule from the site’s inaugural year of 1974 were revealed.
