Salem Tech hosted its Third Annual Law Enforcement and First Responders Appreciation event recently. More than thirty representatives from local police, state police, fire, and EMS personnel from around the county took the time to set up displays and demonstrations and be available to interact with all the students and answer their questions.
Students from the Law Enforcement and Public Safety program served as guides and hosts for the day.
“We are so appreciative of our local law enforcement community and our First Responders,” said Captain Sheldon Lewis, instructor of the Salem Tech program. “This is our way of taking the time to recognize all that they do and to thank them for putting themselves in harm’s way to keep us safe.
