Computer Assisted Design & Drafting
This program provides students with technical skills that are applied to the various drafting fields, including architecture, engineering, and product design.
- Students experience manual drafting; 2D drafting in AutoCAD; as well as 3D rendering and animation techniques using AutoCAD, Inventor and 3D Studio Max.
- Students also gain experience in poster design, vinyl lettering and glass etching, as well as working with a CNC milling machine.
- Articulation agreement with Salem Community College.
- Past CADD students are employed at PSEG, M. Davis & Sons, Inc. and several independent architectural firms.
