The SCVTS Educational Foundation honored Assemblyman and Ranch Hope, Inc. CEO with their 2025 Leadership Award at The Grove at Centerton. Assemblyman Bailey was presented with the award by Superintendent of Schools John R. Swain.
The award was created by Doug Ohm, Glass Studio Specialist at the Glass Center at Salem Community College. Cadets from the Salem Tech Air Force Jr. ROTC unit served as greeters for the event and conducted the Presentation of the Colors. Salem Tech Pastry Arts students prepared the desserts for the event and students from the Academy of Vocal and Instrumental Music provided the music.
More than $30,000 was raised by sponsors of the event. Attendees also had the opportunity to bid on various items in the Silent Auction.
