Recently 130 incoming freshmen students spent the day at Salem Tech to get their schedules, find out where their classes are and learn about how they can get involved in sports and various clubs.

To kick things off, the district held a special ceremony on Wednesday, August 2 during which the contents of a time capsule from the site’s inaugural year of 1974 were revealed.
