Cooking For A Cure

Aug 29, 2024

Tuesday, September 10th – Friday, September 13th

The Salem Tech Culinary & Pastry Arts program is teaming up with Haddon Culinary to support Cooking Up a Cure Inc. in its quest to find a cure for ALS in honor of former SCVTS instructor and friend Chef Guy Dunagan.

Students are making specialty meal kits available for purchase for four nights (from Tuesday, September 10th to Friday, September 13th) leading up to the annual Walk to Defeat ALS in Ocean City, NJ on September 16th. Each meal kit serves four guests for $65. Preorder all four nights and receive a meal for $50 / each evening.

You may pick up your meal kit at Salem Tech in Woodstown or either Haddon Culinary location in Collingswood or Haddonfield.

Cooking Up a Cure Inc’s., mission is to combine the passion for culinary arts with the drive to find a cure for ALS in honor of mentor and friend, Chef Guy Dunagan. Together with Haddon Culinary, Cooking Up A Cure will engage and empower local culinary students from Salem Tech to create exceptional meals for purchase, with the ultimate goal of raising profits to support ALS research. Through our culinary endeavors, we strive to inspire hope and spread awareness while actively contributing to finding a cure for ALS. We envision a world where the joy of cooking can one day help find a cure.
