Basic Life Support (CPR)
IN-PERSON COURSE
The American Heart Association’s CPR & ECC is inspiring the world to save lives. We are the leader in resuscitation science, education, and training, and publisher of the official Guidelines for CPR and ECC. Millions of healthcare providers and others trust the AHA for their lifesaving training.
The BLS for Healthcare Providers course teaches CPR skills to help victims of all ages, (including ventilation with a barrier device, a pocket mask and a bag-valve mask); use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of a foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). The class is intended for participants who provide healthcare to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital. For certified or noncertified, licensed or non licensed healthcare professionals. However, anyone who wants to learn CPR/AED skills is permitted to take this class.
